This eLearning module, ‘Sexual Violence and Harassment: How to Support Yourself and Your Peers’, created by Active* Consent, provides you with an overview of issues related to sexual violence and harassment.

This will also identify some support services available for you and your peers in the event of a negative sexual experience.
The module also introduces how you can safely and appropriately become an Active* Bystander in your community and campus.

This module is based on findings from Active* Consent and USI- Union of Students in Ireland 2020 Sexual Experiences Survey (SES).

Students reported on their experiences of sexual violence and harassment for this survey.

The Active* Consent workshop focuses on giving students the skills and knowledge to navigate and establish healthy, consensual, sexual relationships.

• The course has 2 videos for you to complete - one short video to introduce the training and one 25 minute presentation by Active* Consent.

• You will be asked 2 questions during the presentation and asked to complete a short survey at the end of the second video.

• You will then have the opportunity to continue and complete the eLearning module ‘Sexual Violence and Harassment: How to Support Yourself and Your Peers’, in order to receive a certificate from Active* Consent on completion.
